1967 Rem 700 30-06

Oops!!I picked up a pristine 1968 Rem700 ADL 22-250,I owned this rifle before and told my bud I wanted first dibs if he ever sold it,
I had immediate sellers remorse....didn't he call today,300$ w the ammo~woo hoo!!!! things a tackhammer.I already have a 2fiddy,but just had to have it.

Last spring I bought a 1975 bdl 243 varmint that was unfired and flawless, haven't had a chance to shoot it much but found a load with 70gr blitzkings that shot several groups right at 1/2".
 
I guess I have the Grandfather to your rifle. M1917 Eddyfield 30/06. Manufactured in January 1919 and served in WW1. Was sporterized in the early 30's and given to my Grandfather as a wedding gift by my Grandmothers brother who served in WW1. Whether this was his service rifle is unknown, but I'm still researching. I inherited this rifle when my Grandfather passed in the late 90's
