2/19 Female coyote

My partner and I went out last night and made 2 stands. It was extremely foggy for the first stand and we really couldn't make things out through our thermals. We were gonna call it on account of the fog but we called next property owner and he said there was very little fog at his place. We made our way there and since we had never hunted the property he joined us. He explained where he heard them and where his property line ended. We got set up and we hunted out of the second story window of his barn. I started with some Cal Taylor prarie dog calls and after 10 minutes I moved to some new MFK breeding sounds. Within another 10 minutes, the landowner mentioned he saw a coyote out in the field (using my scanner). My partner was able to get on it and put a really good shot on it using his Tikka 22-250 and the 64 grain Sierra bullet. We thought me saw another so I continued to call for another 10 minutes with nothing else showing. Attached is a picture of this nice female. I'm gonna try and upload the video as well, later.

Very cool, Lazer. Stay after them!

I hunt a sheep farm that I can post up in the loft of the barn sometimes. I wish I had a bunch of spots with that option! Lol…

I grew up on a farm with a loft. I never shot from up there but if I ever buy a farm It will defiantly be a must have item. I want an old run down barn with at least 300 - 400 yard view. I would fix it up inside with the works including AC/HEAT, bed, tv ,internet, cook top, coffee pot, small fridge, you name it. In addition to a thermal scanner that I can monitor on a tablet. And of course a proper rest for my rifle with a good stool.

This wouldn't be that hard or expensive to do. I could put out a food plot, bait pile or dead pile. I'm not a big deer hunter simply because I don't want to get up at 4-4:30 AM. shove food down get to the area, tote a metric ton of gear, then climb a tree in the dark while freezing my butt off. Doing all of this on my "day off" from a busy work week. I don't have a problem admitting I am lazy if that is what you want to call it. I prefer to refer to it as Wise. I'm retired now and still take a pass on that style of hunting. But with setup like I describe I would be good to go at sunup every morning. Or sit up and snipe coyotes all night.

Ok. So I edited the video and I have the 10 seconds. Do you guys just load it to YouTube and share the link or is there a better way?
