2 Leupold's VX-2 or 1 and a mark Ar mod1

8 weeks is a long wait! How come so long? My distributor to me 2 days same model without firedot. Harder to get the firedot model maybe? I'm sure it will be worth the wait though. I hate waiting

I'm not sure why it takes so long. I'm getting it thru the rifle manufacturer, who offers them at a discount with the purchase of one of their ARs. It's a good price but a long wait. I hate waiting too, but don't need it now so I will.

It may just have to do with the wait on the rifle build then. He may have them and just ships as a unit. Need the gun for the scope anyway. Who's building the AR? I like AR's.
 
I already have the gun, the scope deal is an afterthought. It's a patrolmans carbine made by Barnes Precision Machine in N. Carolina. I bought it through a local gun store. .223 Wylde chamber, 16"ss 1:8 twist barrel, FDE quad rail and magpul stock and grip. It's a nice little rifle, capable of clover leafs at 100 with factory vmax 55's. I also have an RRA Pig hunter, they are very similar in quality I think.
 
That sounds like a very nice AR. I bet it does shoot great.

I've had a few, mostly Stag lowers, different uppers, a nice match Colt CH that would do a dime at 100. Built a short barrel 10.5 when I had a sot, wasn't my favorite to say the least but had a cool factor. No AR presently but there will be another pretty soon. Have to finish up the 223, 243 and figure if I am going to turn the 30-06 into a 6.5 Swede (probably) then I can do another AR:)
