It was the easiest buck I've ever gotten. I decided to change things up and not use either my stand or blind. There was 14 mph south wind I was waking the north side of the creek looking for a good spot to sit when I saw a young 4 point walking down the creek bed out of the corner of my eye. I walk toward the creek where it was and he never saw me, just lumbered down the creek bed. I found a good tree to sit down and lean against. I get set and comfortable over looking the creek on the downwind side. I rattled once and set them down with 2 minutes I saw him at about 70 yards walking the creek bed up wind. I got set and waited, we walked to straight up wind from me at 15 yards. I drew back and bahh'd to get him to stop. Smoked him through the lungs. I used a PSE bowmadness XS with Easton 300 carbon arrows and my favorite mechanical broad head. I tracked him about 150 yards and found him pinballed off some trees and expired in a gulley.
