,204 and a wolf!

Thanks again fellas.

I've been "laying low" with a hurt lower back since I got the wolf, but man am I anxious to get back out there! I'll be good to go this coming weekend and would sure like to share pics of another wolf. Shot opportunities are pretty rare so I won't be holding my breath.....

Wtg . AK.

Thanks for removing another moose eater !!

My sno go is too old and tired to hunt from ..I need a couple hitches up north . Would sure like a 570 Bearcat .
I can totally relate to the diffeculty in going from seeing them to getting a bullet in one from a snogo at 20 below . After a 20 mile ride !!
Congratulations !!

Beautiful wolf! That you killed it with a .204 makes it even better,I am finally going to get to hunt wolves in Canada this fall with Jim of Redfrog outfitters, as most here know he call's them rather than baiting(nothing against baiting) just will be more fun!! Man you guys are havin a brute of a winter sounds like!

Awesome!!! I love the .204 it packs a rather large punch and at pretty good distances. I killed a 40lbs+ coyote the 2cnd week of Novemeber last year at 435 yards and it went down like a ton of bricks.

If you don't know who Todd Kindler is then you may not know this this story.

He had a client in Alaska who was full time Wolf hunter for the state, Roy Chaney. He was using a 17 Tactical and a 30gr Gold to kill wolves. The count in the article was over 15 I believe, all one shot. These small calibers aren't toys. Adam

SUPER Cool. Congratulations............

Amazing how big they are. Thats where to get them with a small caliber.

Way to put that fur downnnnnnnnnn.
