22-250 ammo recommendation

I recently just purchased a Browning A-bolt Varmint Stalker II in 22-250. The gun has a 26" "half bull barrel" with a 1 in 14" twist. I am trying to figure out what type of ammo will work best. I was curious to see if anyone on here had the same gun, and what load/brand worked the best for them? Obviously no 2 guns will shoot the same. I am planning on using it for mostly groundhogs but some coyote hunting as well. All input is welcome! Thanks in advance guys!

The winchester white box 45 grain is good in most guns. Walmart is 28.00
for a box of 40.
Be careful with anything over 50 or 52 grains, they may not stabilize so don't
invest until you know yours will.

Most rifles with the 1-14 twist will stabilize lighter bullets. best to try 50 grain and lighter for your rifle. keep trying, you will find one that works.

Right now, I am going with factory loads. I eventually want to handload but need to get some brass anyways so what better way than to start off buying some factory ammo. I just got some Hornady 50 Gr V-max today. If they don't shoot well, I will try lighter before I go heavier. Thanks for the input Guys!

Best factory loads I've used in my 22-250 so far is Federal premium with a 55gr Sierra BTHP.At 100 yards I'm printing a little over a 1/4 5 shot group.

Dont use the Winchester white box. I know its cheap and ive used it. I recently measured the run out on a bunch of em and it was the worst ive seen. THough you can get acceptable accuracy, the potential for fliers is high. I would recommend sierra bullets for ground hoggin
