22-250 bullet choices

I am rebarreling my 22-250 from a 14T to 12T, because I could not get 50gr bullets to group well. Anyone had this issue with 50gr and 14T barrels, or what bullets should I try?
 
I agree with the above. I have never had any issues getting 50s or 55's to shoot in my 14 twist's
Id check for other accuracy issues before blaming the twist rate. Check the bedding of the rifle, crown of the barrel and ensure all stock and scope screws are tight.

As stated, I think something else is at play.

Get some 52 grain Berger match bullets.
 
It's bullet length not weight so if your shooting lead frees they are longer than lead bullets of the same weight. Same with boat tails and plastic tips, they add length while not increasing weight.

I shoot 52gr Speer flatbase hollow points out of my 14 twist 22-250, great coyote bullet.
 
I shot a ton of 50gr Vmax and Noslers when i had my first 22-250. Both Vmax and Noslers shot very well in the 14T.
When i burnt that barrel out i went with a 9 twist and it shoots everything from 40-80gr very good.
50gr Nosler BT's and 80gr Berger VLD's were the best tho.
 
If the 50 gr bullets you were testing in a 1/14 are Barnes tsx, 1 in 12 is the slowest suggested twist. Only testing will determine if a 1/12 will work, 1/10 or even 1/9 would be better.
 
Both my VLS and VSSF II in .22-250 shoot very well with Sierra 52 grain match bullets.
In the Tikka 8 twist I go with 70 grain Nosler's.
