22-250 bullet recommendations

You don't want to be anywhere downrange when someone's shooting fmj with frozen ground especially in flat country. I happened to be the west of some standing corn when a fox came out the east side and a buddy dumped 18 rounds of fmj from his mini and every one of those ricocheted. That was 30 years ago and the end of the fmj bs.
The best 22-250 bullet I've seen for fox was the Sierra 40gr hp.

I wasn't trying to say take iffy shots, but have one a little off target and the plastic tip bullets cause more damage. As far as FMJ's they are great for fur but you will not be skinning as much because you definitely are going to have alot of runners. The match bullets have been the best I have found for the best of both worlds from what I have found. You will have runners with any bullet and gun combo with a bad shot but the match bullets has been the best for me for a good kill without a huge exit hole. The FMJ no matter how fast ist going and where it hits is going to poke hole through what ever it hits so it better be the heart, which is probably about the size of a 50 cent piece. Lungs it with be lethal but its also going to run, and they can cover a lot of ground fast. You guys say what you want but Im going to stick to the match bullets for fur, if you just want them DRT use a plastic tip.
