,22-250 data for OLD Remington bullets

I have a 750+ old Remington .224" bullets. They are in the the old red boxes with white and green writing on them. They are listed as 55gn HP Match Power Lokt #B22958. I was wondering if anyone may have some old data for them using IMR 4064 powder. Money is tight right now and I need some bullets so figured I'd shoot them up out of my Savage .22-250. I'd just work a load up for them but these have a concave base to them instead of a flat or boattail so I'm not sure how that would effect pressures and was hoping to at least find a starting point for them. I can post a pic of them if needed by anyone.

Thanks
Tim

TRex300:

Start with any good manual's STARTING load 22/250 and IMR 4064 and 55 gr. bullets; work up.

I shoot a lot of 4064 in the 22/250 and I am sure you will have success. Lyman manual 47th Edition lists 31 - 36 grains as the range for IMR 4064 and a Sierra's #1360 55 gr. Spitzer bullet.

Sorry, not trying to hi-jack TreX's post but are these bullets that TreX is refering to still available? They shoot OH SO GOOD out of my 222 mag and I only have 5 bullets left.

You will need to check remington's catalog, or call, them, to see if they are available; if you have the box, for your remaining 5 bullets, the bullet's catalog/model number is on it.
