Thanks you all! Varget or IMR 4350 it will be! I just started to handload my first Varmit gun...22-250 a Win Coyote.

I ordered a HS Precision stock for it yesterday. I put a old Weaver 3x9 WA AO in dual dovetail mounts. I plan on using it for Wolf,lynx,fox here in Alaska.

For reloading I will use Hornady seater die, neck sizer die...Lee factory crimp die.....bullets still trying to decide....but the Hornady V-max 55gr Moly or Nosler SilverTip looks good. I will be using WW brass and Fed 210GM/CCI Br-2 primers with the IMR 4350 and Varget to start with.

Kinda leaning toward IMR 4350 @ 39.0 with Fed 210GM primers with the above bullet since it is a 92% case fill but Varget is real popular.

Hows my recipie so far?

You are not the only one who likes IMR 4350 in the 22-250, Dan Newberry OCW loads uses it also in a 22-250. I like IMR 4350 for the 30-06 and 338 Win and use it quite often.

I agree with Jack,I use IMR4350 and it is the most accurate I have used so far in my Coyote,Half inch and under for 5 at 100 yards.I see no reason to change something that works that well.[img=http://img50.imageshack.us/img50/8436/222500qa.th.jpg]

In over 30 years of owning a 22-250, I've never found one that didn't like IMR4320 and a 55 grain bullet.

39.5 Grains IMR 4350 with a 50 Grain Nosler ballistic Tip,.015 off the lands with a WLR winchester primer.
