22-250ai vs 22creedmoor

I found it interesting during a tour of Hornady this week when the young lady who was guiding us informed us that 6.5 Creedmoor is their third best selling round now, behind only 9mm and 223.

Yes I have one, a RAP and it shoots way better than a $400 rifle should. Is it a super impressive round? Not necessarily, I'm more of a 6mm guy. But it is accurate, efficient, and maybe most impressive is that it's introduced a whole lot of people to a bullet diameter that was totally ignored by the public prior.

I don't know why I'm even commenting lol. I couldn't care less what anyone shoots. I do think it's a bit childish to knock anyone else's choice. It doesn't even have to be logical. This is supposed to be fun!

So, how is the 22 creed so much faster than the 22/250 AI. I must be missing something? I don't know how the 22 Creed could have so much more capacity than the 22/250 AI. Internal capacities must be much different.

Look pretty close to me. Going by that picture it looks like the AI might have a bit more capacity with what looks like a slightly longer shoulder.

Well I'm not sure what you're trying to get at, or what exactly your insult is. Maybe you need to school me more.

What you highlighted references the "factiod" that while the 6.5 diameter has been around for well over a century, no cartridge of that diameter has ever had widespread acceptance here in the States like the Creedmoor.

That may be true, but I need to apologize that I didn't recognize that your cajones are so fragile that my comment insulted you. This is the internet and not real life. Don't take it so seriously

My simple point was that a lot of people had been shooting 6.5 MM bore diameter cartridges like the 264 Win Mag, the 6.5x55 Swede, the 6.5-284, and the 260 Rem for years, and they didn't feel a need to get matching clothes and cars just because.
