Maybe go as fast as you can find with the twist (1-6.5)? Cold weather definitely requires a bit faster twist than that of the Southern States in the US.
Not living in your region, I'm somewhat forced to look at the charts on this. And that is basically a educated guess (actually statistics / formulas).

Since you're looking for fast, there's no reason to go over an 80 grain slug, so an 8" twist should work just fine.

I am torn on twist...but I do want to shoot the heaver bullet.
I have a 22-250 with a 10 twist if I want to shoot the lighter weights.

Plus I'm playing around with my 22br which is a 1/7.5....lol too many choices.

But it does not seem to like the 75g ELDM..
I know Hornady recommends a 7.
