So have you tested your chrony like that with other rifles / loads before? The placement seems sub-optimal, and the target / backstop is too close.
Anyway... intriguing project, and will be interesting to see how much velocity can be gained over the standard 22 Creed, given same bullet / max charge.

Yeah the weather has been crap and it's been extremely cold so I'm kind of lazy and have been just testing loads from the bedroom
Never had any issues with the crony until that particular day for some reason

No worries I'm going to go at it again this weekend and stretch out to 100 and 200 yards

Camera system .

Once a load is worked up
We will stretch out to 500
And document it .

Then the oneleaf MT1000 and the 75mm
Lens is getting dropped on it to test
Lrf and BC .

Got the 204 Slingshot completed .
It's a 22 250 parent case with the
Body taper removed and a 42 degree
Shoulder necked down to 20.

What is the barrel life expectancy ?

Well that is a very subjective question
Because there are so many variables involved

I will not be shooting this thing and any rampant succession.So it will never get hot

I will let the barrel get a nice layer of copper on it
And not strip the copper off, like most boneheads who have no idea about how dynamics and rifling are

With a forty two degree shoulder, it reduces the throat erosion dramatically compared to a thirty degree

I will not be using extruded stick powders
Which also eat up the throat

I should expect to see eight hundred rounds to a thousand easily.Which will last me a very long time?Considering

It's a one shot one kill rifle


I am also using alliance power pro two thousand m r powder

This is very easy on rifles
Offering maximum velocity with decreased pressures.
