Got a chance to play with some of my Don Unmussig 20 cal bullets ..
I have a batch of 55 50 57 gr .
Used these in my 204 fastback
I was floored by the velocities I'm seeing
57 gr with 33.5 gr power pro 2000 mr was 3780 fps average
Went on to try the 50 gr at 34 gr pp 2k mr
Saw 3950 fps average
A ragged Lil bug hole .
Called Don today ..he has my batch of 63 gr
And 60 gr completed ...
And I asked for 500 of the 50 gr ..
And to use the 50 gr jackets and drop the weight to maintain a front empty cavity
But maintain the long profile he said he can drop it to 46 gr ..
So I have 500 of these being made
I'm getting 22 250 AI velocities with 6 grains less powder in my 204 fastback using the same weight bullets ..
Shaking my head ..crazy fast .
I imagine the 46 gr even maintaining the 34 gr charge will show 4100 fps
These bullets are holding up to the 7 twist just fine ..profiles are same as Berger 55 .
