SSSSHHHH! Don't tell Pruson but after seeing his Browning shoot I had to have one. It should be here soon. I hope mine will shoot as good as his. I will let you know. I love my LVSF in .17 Rem it will hard choice to make this fox season. Damn you Sonny!

Jack R... YUP I'm positive on the .223 bore... someone on one of the boards had one and was talking about using the .223 bullets and I ask why he was using them instead of the .224 and he's the one that told me... well like you said there's no one bored a hornet to .223 in 40 years... I called CZ personally and was told in no uncertain terms that was the bore diameter they made them in...

I can second the Browning Micro Midas as being one shooting little rifle... my hunting partner has one and it just loves Winchester 45gr SP's... both of my Encore barrels shot them and the 46gr HP's equally well... just last week was the first time this year I brought out the 22-250, been shooting the K-Hornet all summer... was just to much fun to put down... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I wonder why they did that???

I will bet .224" ammo is being shot in 99% of them. I never did see where it made much difference in pressure.

from what I'm hearing it all depends on the rifle, some of them will handle the 224 dia with good results others need to have the 223 bullets exclusively... ai'd like to have one but am not going to take the chance I get a tight bored one...
