Great information. Has anyone had experience with the OCL Titanium?
I shoot a mask on my 17 upper, quiets the loud pop of the hmr pretty good. Upper cycles fine with it. Shoot 17 through 30 cal can too, its just heavy compared to the mask, I haven't put them side and compared but I think the 30 cal is a tad quieter. For kicks and giggles I bought a Bear Creek 17 HMR. I'm going to use it mainly for ground squirrels.
I put my OCL Polonium on it and it sounds really quiet to me, but I was wondering if a 22 Can would be any better.
Is anyone shooting 17 HMR with a Can?
Thanks Rhett. I was thinking of buying another Polonium 5.56 just because it can be used on other rifles, but your right about the weight.I shoot a mask on my 17 upper, quiets the loud pop of the hmr pretty good. I shoot my AB Littlebird on my Savage 93/17. It seems to do pretty well. I tried my AB A10 on it as well, which is a 7.62 suppressor. I was hoping the larger can would be quieter. I really couldn't tell a difference. I've stuck with the smaller suppressor on my 17s and 22s. I can't tell a difference in sound and like the weight savings. Thanks Rhett. The Polonium is 13.5 oz where as the Titanium 22 is only 4 oz. I'm going to wait until January and try to make a decision than.
