22 Suppressor?

22 rimfire cans seem to get dirtier, quicker, than center fire
Nah rimfire is just nasty lol although they suppress the best. I've looked at the Ruger just never committed to them. though I've heard a lot of good stuff about them overall.

LOL , just added another .22 lube lead collection muzzle device today... just now waiting for approval ....
went with the Sparrow for this one.

Sort of thread drifting a bit.. I had the OCL Titanium out the other day on the savage mk II. It wasn't all THAT dirty but could use some cleaning. In the past I'd usually scrub it out by hand using a brush and Hoppes #9. This time I used the Tumbler with ss pins. I had heard from several sources that it was safe & would not hurt the baffles. finally feeling adventurous. In the tumbler it went (the baffle stack only) set the timer for 2 hours. I did have some very small traces of lead nothing a wood toothpick did not handle on maybe three baffles. If I had selected maybe another 30 min there would have been nothing. no dings nothing but a pretty spotless baffle stack.
My point was to state yeah for the OCL offering the SS pin tumbling works well for cleaning the baffles.

Looking forward to the sparrow getting approved, hopefully before the 17th of June that would /will allow me to compare the two against each other. As well as a backup / loaner can.

I purchased a Rugged Oculus for my S&W Sport 15-22 and use sub-sonic ammo with it. It is so ridiculously quiet, it sounds like a desk stapler.

However, that rifle and suppressor was purchased last year and I have since sold the rifle. I now have that same suppressor on a Bergara BMR 22 Mag. Since it has twice the power and is not using sub-sonic ammo, it is a bit louder. It sounds like a 22 Short, but is very effective/accurate.

This one looks promising. There's a video on YouTube. It's supposedly made out of a really slick alloy. 22plinkster claims he got around 7,000 shots and it didn't cleaning yet.

I wouldn't buy a .22 suppressor that can't be completely disassembled. Personally i have Dead Air Mask and SilencerCo Switchback 22 suppressors. Both have NO FRP (First Round Pop) and are completely serviceable.

Regarding 22Plinkster - don't let his good ole boy southern drawl fool you. He is paid for everything you see on his channel since he quit doing trick shooting videos. He is a walking, talking advertisement.
