If it's a factory barrel, they taper down pretty quickly and don't have a lot of shank on them so I'd highly doubt, on just about any factory barrel, there is enough shank to set it back two inches and if this is a factory barrel chambered in 220 Swift it would have started its life at 24 or 26 inches.
Recrowning it at home with a hand drill isn't all that difficult, lots of youtube vids to help walk you through it but messing with a factory chambered barrel is always kind of a crap shoot or luck of the draw. It's not for me but some folks seem to have good luck with them.
