222 Remington

I have four 222s that I share with my son, Remington 788, Remington 700 ADL, and two 722s. I just can't seem to resist a good 222. I also have 722s in 244 and 257 Roberts, really like the feel of that 722.

I also have two Remington 722 Duces. Have only shot one of them as I just bought the second one. The one I did shoot shot three shots into a 3/16" group at 100 yards after finding the load it likes. It's amazing that a rifle made over 50 years ago shoots that well.
My first centerfire rifle was a Rem 722 in 300 Savage that I bought from money I save as a kid in 1949. So, I've been collecting 722's and now have all of the different calibers they were made in, with one in 308 arriving today at the FFL to complete the collection. All are standard grade 722's except for the 6mm Rem which is a beautiful "B" grade.
I'd like to find more of them in "B" grade.
I'm selling off my other rifles to fund buying 722's.

Walt Berger sat a lot of World Records with the 222 shooting against the 6 PPC shooting his own 52's with H335.

He held out of for a long time in converting to the 6 PPC, which is a testiment of just how accurate the cartridge is.
