Where can i find some once fired 223 (not 5.56) brass and what should i expect to pay How can u tell if the brass has a crimped primer or not. This is my first bulk purchase mainly been buying new brass since I am new to reloading.

I just got 1000 223Rem Winchester NT once fired brass that was tumbled for $80. Cost 20 bucks shipping.

That was on a Canadian gun site(forum). Canadian gun nutz.

I see prices often from $70-$100 per 1000 once fired.

All federal will be crimped. There's a tiny band of extra metal holding the primer in. I don't have a tool to clean those up yet but it'll be a long time before I get to my crimped once fired brass.

LC is some good brass. And at its price point, one can buy a bunch, separate it out by weight, etc. and have some high quality consistent brass. And if you shoot 223 in high volumes, get a primer swager. They're worth their weight in gold!
