Lots of good info guys, thanks. I like the looks of that Sinclair case gauge and it should answer some questions. Since I'm shooting an AR and tend to lose alot of cases, it sounds like I probably would not need to trim the same case twice. I just need a better method to get it done.

Chuck up your Lee trimmer in a drill press. You can really turn out a bunch in a short time. Don't even bother to use the shell holder, just bottom it out on the drill press table.
Anybody else trim them this way?
I dont have a press but I can see where this would speed things up because you wouldnt have to fool with the lock stud. I would still need to buy an RCBS type case prep center to do the chamfering/deburring and other steps. This still sounds like the way to go though, since it would allow me to clean and uniform primer pockets which I'm currently not doing.
Doing cases this way seems faster and less tiring than the cordless drill method I'm using now. I just weighed my cordless drill for giggles, 5.3 lbs! No wonder I get tired of weilding that beast after an hour of trimming.
Also, does the primer pocket tool on the RCBS remove military primer crimps or do you just use the inside chamfer tool to ream it out?
