223 loads with Shooters World Precision powder

I cant seems to find any 50 to 55 gr bullet reloading data. According to them its similar to Varget but their data starts at 60 gr. Anyone have any information?

Had a similar issue with Western Powders from their $30 manual. Ended up emailing them to clarify. That is what I would do.

lovex (the powder manufacturer) doesnt list load data for 223 for it (SO62) either

however all i would take away from that is that SW has done more testing with it than lovex has so far.

The max load for Varget is due to powder spilling over the case neck. If it is similar, I would feel fairly confident loading a couple by case volume and watching the speed over a chrono.

+1 to arlaunch suggestion. Varget with a 50 gr bullet fills the case in 223 before pressure. Usually 27-27.5 grains. A 55 gr bullet will be around 26.5 grs.

I would not be afraid to back off the max Varget charges by 10-15% with Shooters World Precision and work your load up from there. As arlaunch mentions a chronograph would be very helpful too!
