223 Speer gold dots

So I'm messing around with using my 223 for my night ops predator rifle. Targets being coyote, coon, skunk, fox. Previously used 50vmax, 50ttsx, & 55sp. 75 hornady bthp didn't like my rifle, 1 in 10 primers were penetrated by the firing pin. Loading some 75 berger vld's now, thinking about trying 75 gr gold dots as well. Anyone else shooting gold dots at coyotes?
 
While I appreciate all the concern for the hornady ammo / ruger rifle problem, its really not an issue.

A. The ruger fires all other ammo flawlessly

B. Other rifles fire the ammo flawlessly

Its just that rifle &, that batch of ammo which I don't have alot left of.

Do we have any gold dot users in here?
