I know I have not posted on the topic in a short while but Since its a new year and all I figured this would be a great time to start a new project.

The Details:

This group buy will work much like the previous one with a few minor tweaks to make it easier for me to keep track of things.

The dies will be a standard FL 2 die set in 22x6.8 for $125 shipped

For those of you that will need a barrel Ritch is offering:

Your choice of either an 18 inch mid length gas or a 22 inch rifle gas.

Either choice will be:

standard contour 0.750 gas block. No extra charge
Your choice of Target crown or threaded for 5/8x24. No extra charge
1x8 twist
Machine finish

A smoking deal at $275 $250 plus shipping so long as you are buying a die set. For a total package price of $375.

To make this deal happen we will need to order at least 25 die sets and I still need to confirm with Hornady but we will be looking at approx. 20 weeks for a lead time once I receive all funds and place the order.

So if your in for a die set just send me a PM for payment info. If you will also be needing a barrel you can send Ritch a second PM and he will get you fixed up on that side.

In an effort to speed this thing up a little bit I would like to have all payments collected in the next couple of weeks and with any luck we can have the dies in hand early summer.

I knew I would forget something. We probably talked about it but I do not recall. I'm sure Ritch or even Greg will be along shortly.

Are these just a rebranded BHW barrel? What kind of rifling in these barrels?

What kind of brass prep is needed? Any neck turning/reaming? One of the things I like about the 6x6.8 is that all you truly do is run it through the sizer die and go. My 17-223 needs to be trimmed and neck reamed. Which is fine but takes a lot more time at the bench.

Absolutely no relationship with BHW. Five land poly rifling.

BTW This cartridge was designed by Ritch.

No but in a 24" I'm getting 3750 with a 50 3700 with a 55, 3250 with a 75. All pressure tested. A loss of 125 FPS would be reasonable to figure in.

Mine was built for PD's so 18" wasn't contemplated.

BTW I'm in for a set.

Just size and shoot. No different than the 6X6.8. No turn and no ream.

58s at 3600 plus in 6x6.8 with h322 and
55s at 3550 in 22 nosler......Im trying to convince myself I need one of these...
I still need to get a 6x6.8 tube from Ritch but I would say I would atleast be in for a set of these dies just incase.
