I had a bad experience trying to push a deer load so fast. I was running 85 grain Gamekings at 3300 a few years ago and got a terrible splash with zero penetration. I have since slowed down my hunting loads too 3100 fps.

If I could find they may try 87gr VLD.

I am using these bullets with H414. I may need to try some 7828 SSC. These clocked in right at 2900 with a hefty dose of the H414. I'd like over 3k fps, but that's just a mental thing for me.
 
I'm getting 3100 fps with 41 grains of H4350. But not sure if that's a safe load in a match chamber.
