243 vs 243 AI which is the way to go?

Yes you can adjust the FL die. Even with the Die adjusted to hit the neck and not the shoulder it still will size some of the body. You will find that it is more difficult to size any part of the body on the AI case. It just take more force to size. Just be sure you still lube the case well.

The 70gr is perfect in a 243AI.

No, the .243 FL die won't work. Look at the two cases, an AI shoulder is larger and further forward. Run an AI case into the std 243 die, it'll go about 2/3 of the way and stop.....it'll never get near the neck.
 
I have 2 243AI's one is a 10 twist and 1 is a 14 twist. Oddly enough the 10 twist shoots the 70 grain pills excellent. The 14 drills the 55's thru 70's as well.
i love the w 760 and h 414 and accurate 2700.
I listened to Ackley Man and a few others who are in the Know on the cartridge and have been extremely pleased. I love the 243AI and would do another in a heartbeat
 
Hi is the win 760 H414 about the best powder for the berger 70 gr HP 70 BT and 87 gr v max? What about the 58 gr bullets? What about imr 4064?
