243 WIN using Sierra 85gr HPBT's - looking for advice on loads

I use relaoder 19 with this bullet and I have not been able to find a better load. I used this on Antelope this year and it put them down--no running off.
Check the books on RL19 and I think you will find a good load.

Had a buddy pick me up a # of 4064 today - will probably try this first, but 4831 too then with the Sierra 85's. I loaded up some more 70gr Nosler BT's today also (looking like 41.7 of Varget might be the ticket there).

I have been watching youre 2 posts on youre tikka real

280WIN

I've been loading 85 grain Sierra Gamekings over 36.7 grains of 4064 for several years for my 700 in .243 Winchester. I find it to be a great coyote load. It's very accurate from my rifle too. It's a tough powder to meter, so I usually set my scale under my desired weight and trickle each charge. It's worth the time.

Coyote 6974

I just saw a coyote on Sunday night near our place - first year I have EVER seen these things around, and so far this year I've seen 3 now. Can't wait to get a shot at one!

Thanks for the load input 6974, and 280WIN... doesn't sound reasonable. Scope, or mounts or something else must be going on there. My scope is the first "cheap" scope I ever bought. Always been Weaver or Leupod or Nikon or Bushnell - but this was a 6-20x44mm Intensity Optics that I got on sale from Natchez for just $89! With S&H it was like $105 all toll. I was more than a little worried at first about putting this scope on any gun with recoil, but it has held up fine so far. Bright and clear, and holds zero perfectly. I put a rail on, then used XTR mounts, each with six screws (3 and 3). Rock solid setup.

Buddy of mine is running 42 grains of Varget behind the 85 Sierra HPBT. Out of his 20" barreled Rem 700 youth .243, they're cooking 3200 fps over the Chrony... I was impressed.

On Sunday he shot a large blacktail buck... about 250lbs... at 60 yards directly in the throat. That little 85 grain pill shattered 4 vertibrae... thrashed the lungs... and ended up somewhere in the right ham. Seriously... it went through over 3 feet of deer... again, I was impressed.
