Looking for load data for the new Hornady 85 grain Interbonds and H4350. The 85 grain Interbonds are not listed in my copy of the newest Hornady load manual. I called Hornady and was told to use the same loads as for their 87 grain VMax's, but they only list loads for IMR4350, not H4350. I am mainly looking for starting loads and maximum pressure loads to start my own load development.

I chose the Hornady 85 grain Interbonds as the ultimate deer/predator bullet and then chose the Hodgdon H4350 as the correct powder for the bullet weight. I then could not find this combination listed in available reloading data. Maybe I should have first looked at available reloading data and then bought listed components. I don't trust myself to work up to maximum with my limited reloading experience.

90 GR. SFT SCIR 90 H4350 .243" 2.300" 41.0 3087 56,200 PSI 44.0C 3245 62,900 PSI

This is off the Hodgdon load data website. This is for a 90 grain bullet but at least it will give you a starting point.
Just work up slowly and when you have reached what you believe is max for your rifle then back of a half grain or so. The problem with WSSM loads is there is not much wiggle room once you are at the max load area, the pressures spike pretty quick. So go slow.

Thanks to both of you for the responses. I will pick a starting load and work up. Is .5 grains a safe initial increment?

What are you shooting? You are correct look up the load you want in a reliable manual before buying components of the loads listed drop 10% Below minimum and work up watching for pressure signs. Any sign of a flattened or cratered primer back off. work up low and slow work up in .1 grain increments with the WSSM's as was stated they will spike fast.5 is to much if you happen to hit max for your rifle. Be very careful, my gut is telling me to tell you to dump the H4350 and go with somthing listed like H 4831 start at44.0 for a vel of 3090 and pressure of 55,700 PSI up to a compressed load47.0 V 3200 and press of 63,200 psi or Varget with a start load of36.5 and Vel of 2990 with press 53,200 PSI up to 39.2 for vel of3195 and press of 63,200
