25/06 or 270

go with the 25-06 in ADL configuration.

I bought my best bud a 270 stevens a few years ago and it had to go to the smith.... Its accurate though.

I thought that two at first, but those aren't .277 sized holes.... Looks good to me!!!

I agree, but that is also a plastic plate... Very easy for pieces to break off on shot.

If those are each 3 shot groups then [beeep] thats impressive! Not only gun, but shooter as well!
 
If you will be using it more for varmints the .25-06 would be a better choice in my opinion. On the other hand the .270 is a better deer round. Since you already have a deer rifle why not go with a true varmint caliber. There are a number to chose from.
