.25 WSSM vs. .243 WSSM

I have had both 25WSSM and 243WSSM. I have found the WSSM's to be pretty finicky on loads, however having that type of cartridge in an AR15 platform has alot of appeal.
I shot 100gr NBT in the 25 for both deer and coyotes. It killed both very dead.
In the 243 WSSM shooting the 75gr Vmax for coyotes and 85gr SGK for deer. It works too.
For the most part it stays in the safe, I like the 6WOA with a 75gr Vmax running 3100 for called coytoes.

If you get a 25WSSm send me a PM I have brass and dies gathering dust.

Stay after them

bullet "jump" is the distance the bullet has to travel before the ogive contacts the rifling lands on the barrel.

Some bullets like Berger VLDs have a sharp secant style bullet tip that does not like to "jump" very far before it contacts the lands.
"Typical" bullet styles have a tangent at the front, more of a curved surface that is much more forgiving as it slowly guides the bullets into the barrel.

Alright well guess I should try to narrow down what I plan on using it for. I've got a 270 that I use for my big game hunting. If I had a deer tag in my pocket and the AR in my hands would probably be one of the only times Id use it. If I was goin out just for deer I'm more than likely gonna grab my 270.
The AR will be my 2nd go to predator gun when I decide to take something other than the 204 or when I know Ill be walking long distances and want a lighter gun than the Axiom.
I've never been one to go and shoot hundereds of rounds sitting over a p-dog town but do like to go out shooting varmints just not in mass quanites at a time.
For as far as competition shooting goes I've never did it and dont plan on doing it. (no offense to the guys that do just not my cup of tea)

Thanks a bunch for the answers so far fellers I apperciate it.
