.257 Weatherby anyone?

You chamber the standard round, when fired it blows the case out, meaning the body taper up to the shoulder is minimized and the shoulder slope is sharper instead of gradual. This then gives you more case capacity, less neck stretch, (trim necks less), and all this with standard cases/loaded rounds.

My gun guy has twisted my arm...Here's what I just ordered:

Christensen Arms Custom .257 Weatherby Mag. action with carbon graphite Christensen Arms barrel and titanium brake with a MPI Black on Black Graphite Fiber Stock...Thanks for all of your thoughts and advice...greatly appreciated...Thanks again!

have had my 257-wby for the last 2 years now and i love it.Its awsome i use mine for deer and its like they get struck by lighting it didnt take me long to fall in love /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gifif you really want one then get it after all its your money.if you get one im sure you will like.

I just about bought one, a vanguard in 257 weatherby mag. What impressed me was what the guy who owned shot with it. Elk , moose and mulie deer all fell to his 257 weatherby. But I don't reload and can't afford the shells. I am contemplating a 25-06 instead just because of the price of shells. Wicked calibre though!
