Ernie, that's a wonderful rifle. Nice components

I"m curious as to your speed with the 28 N and the 195 boolits. The BC on those is quite impressive.

Looking forward to your range report

Congrats

Len is very proud of the 28 Nosler/195 combination. Was this rifle in stock or a special order?

Also, I can't quite make out what is printed on the side of the action? Doesn't look like a typical TAC 300 inscription.

MV with a 26" barrel will be just below 3100 fps

I had to wait a little while as they were getting a new Reamer.

I have had a 550 action in the safe for some time.... And most days it screams 28 Nosler at me when I open the door.

That will be a very expensive can of worms but one day I'll crack it open.

I can believe it. I help the buddy of a friend spec out an upcoming 7mm/300 WM to shoot the 195s. When I looked at load data for it I was impressed. Should stay supersonic a long ways

Frank at Bartlein told me that team Berger shoots the 8.25 twist barrels. He said since we live below 5,500' we should use the 8.25 tw

We shall see

I have already had the same conversation with Len in the past. After that discussion I am very content with the 8.5T.
Plus, there are a number of them already out there doing great (same set-up) shooting at lower elevations
