280AI

This is very helpful! Def appreciated…I’m leaning toward a more vertical grip, as I don’t have anything like that as of now everything I have is very traditional style stocks. I guess I’m going for a more long range type rifle with this 280, but still want to be able to carry it.

I do like the McMillan Game Hunter, and the P2…my biggest concern is grip size…I have XL hands and most stocks my pinky goes under the grip, which is very annoying.

Another stock I was looking at is the B&C Long range hunter.
I didn't go there, as I wasn't sure the direction you were headed.

I've come to prefer a more vertical grip myself, that's why the EH-3 appeals to me, with it being more "traditional", but more vertical grip.

I've done the Game Scout, which is more for sporter barrels:

The Manners EH-1 is a contender too:

I do like that topmrifle a lot, the tan/stainless…Looks like you have the VX5HD on it…what height Seekins rings are those? I do like the Manners, but they are alittle more than I want to be spending right now. Is there much difference in the Game Warden vs the Game Hunter or Scout? Which of those 3 would be the best fit for my Brux #3?

Pretty sure those were mediums. I can't run lows with any ring/scope combo.

I have zero experience with the Game Hunter, I do know they are quite popular.

The Game Scout has the Classic forend, it's 1 5/8" wide at the stud, & takes up to a #5 contour.

The Game Warden is a twin to the Scout, only with a 1 3/4 wide forend, so it takes varmint contours with ease.

The EH1 forend is 1.800" wide, good for MTU or Proof barrels.

The Game Scout is the best match for your sporter barrel. The tan camo stock had a #3 Bartlein in it.

Ended up getting a Game Scout stock to replace the Woox. Definitely an improvement.
I think I am going to go with 24” for barrel length, and no muzzle break, just 11 degree crown. I did get a pinned recoil lug from LRI.
I appreciate all the advice
