Sounds interesting. A 75 grain bullet at 3500 and a 120 around 3000. Seems its a simple neck job from 6.5 Creedmoor to 25 caliber. No fireforming and no special dies. A set of 6.5 CM bushing dies and a .277 bushing and your good to go. One pass and load and shoot. 2fity Hillbilly AKA 25 Creedmoor.
 
It seems like a lot of money involved to shrink your bullet size .007 and only a couple bullets available compared to the 6.5CM
 
Seems a lot of the people building them are using heavy bullets but that seems the trend these days. I thought the idea of a 75 grain bullet at 3500FPS sounded good to me but I would imagine a little research would come up with a known caliber that will do the same. I just did a search on 25 calibers and the "Hillbilly" was one of them. I already have a 6 and a 6.5 Creedmoor. Not sure how bad I really need a 25.
 
They are building them for "Power Factor for NRL Hunter class" the 6mm can't make the minimum power factor. So far that is about the only reason I can find for the round. The 6.5 makes a better medium game round and the 6mm a good predator/varmint round. I'm a .25 cal fan having owned a couple 250-3000's, 257 Roberts, a 25-35 and my own 25-204. I looked at the 25 Souper(25-08) and the 25-284 in the past and there just wasn't enough there to justify a build. The 25 Creedmor is basically a 250-3000AI and has been around a very long time, in fact since Ackley built the first one and it hasn't done a hill of beans until someone changed the name and added Creedmor and now it is fashionable, and someone found a knitch for it.
 
As far as a 75gr bullet at 3500 a standard 250-3000 will go 3450fps, 257 Roberts and 25 WSSM will go 3500fps plus out of short action and the 25-06 with ease (all Lyman data). My 25-204 will go nearly 3200 out of a 21" barrel.

I was thinking this very thing last night but wasn't going to say it lol.

I do think there would be a market for a lighter, but aerodynamic 6.5 bullet, say an 80 gr vmax or btip. That's my only knock on the 6.5.
 
I built a 22 CM a few years ago to shoot the 75 / 80 / and 88 grain bullets. It's been a fantastic shooting rifle, and I'm getting right at 3500 fps with the 75gr ELD-M bullets with a 20" barrel.

Earlier this year I put together a 2Fity Hillbilly. I built it to shoot the Berger 135 & 133 grain bullets. I haven't been able to shoot it much yet - too darn hot outside! But, so far it's showing some real promising groups.

I love seeing lefty guns especially ones setup so awesome. Which chassis you like better? I am thinking about getting a MDT XRS for my Remington 700 varmint in 243 also lefty.

Thanks! I really like the KRG Bravo chassis, I have a couple of them as well as a Whiskey 3 chassis.
I haven't used the Woox Exactus much since it's been so hot this summer, but it is a nice setup if you are wanting a nice walnut stock that's also a chassis.
I painted one of my Bravo's with Alcohol Inks to look like a wood stock on a custom 223 build, and clear coated it with a matte clear.
The trigger hadn't arrived yet when I took the photo.
