At this point, I think Thompson and Paul are done, well done..
As much as I hate saying this, it looks like MCain may be our go to guy. He can't be trusted, especially when our gun rights are involved. And, it sure looks like the dumbocrats are going to go with hildabeast... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Its time we faced the facts & accept that we, as gunowners, are the minority in this country.
Can we use that status to qualify for the social hand-outs & special treatment afforded MINORITIES?
WE maybe could form our own party of "REAL AMERICANS of the UNITED STATES" [RAOTUS]. We could claim that disarming us would violate our civil rights GAURANTEED by the Constitution.
We could also claim that the ILLEGAL aliens have better access to social programs, health care, welfare, food stamps, government housing, education etc. than the actual citizens, especially the gun owners of the RAOTUS, that actually labored to pay for these social programs.
We could make it understood that it is our HERITAGE as RAOTUS to be armed with the weapons of our choice to protect these same rights from the majority of the left-wing liberals whose soul purpose of their existence is to take away our inalienable rights to defend ourselves, family, property, country that we are guaranteed by GOD & constitution.
As a minority, that is being shunned & persecuted, downtrodden by the majority, we are entitled by the same laws that protect other minorities, not to mention our loss of dignity by these insults heaped upon us from the majority.
Maybe the ACLU, which has been an enemy of ours, would be forced by law or social conscience, to litigate our rights for us in our favor.
