30-30 Marlin and new hornady leverevolution bullets

What have been your best loads with the 160 hornady bullets. I loaded some with H4895. What else have you used with good results? Thanks, Comanche.
 
I shoot mostly cast bullets out of my 30-30's , for varmits I love the Speer 130 HP! Haven't ran any of the gummy bullets. H4895 is one of my favorite powders for the 30-30 though!

The old standards were IMR-3031, BLC2, W748, ect. RE-15 seems to be working pretty well for a lot of guys nowadays, some are using Varget and are happy with it. Many look forward to the new Hornady Leverevolution powder that is supposed to offer more velocity than previously could be attained... that remains to be seen I guess. Anyway, there is a ton of .30-30 data out there. Great old cartridge!
 
I loaded up 20 or so rounds about a year ago and the results were so bad I didn`t even keep the targets.I dont know if you could find it or not online, but Handloader magazine did an article on a few bifferent flex tip bullets, and the best results the author obtained with the 160g FTX was with Ramshot TAC powder. I haven`t gotten around to trying it out yet.
