.30-30 small base dies?

Guys I am planning on loading 30-30 rounds for myself and a friend . We both shoot Marlin 336 levers. I was going to get a set of Lee Pacesetter dies, but then saw reference to small base. Do I need these or will the regular dies work? Thanks, Bob.

I will guess that because the large majority of 30-30 dies are sold to users shooting lever guns that those dies will be 'min' spec anyway. But if by chance you buy them and they don't size for you to easily chamber correctly handloaded rounds. I will buy the dies from you for your cost. I load for a single shot and definitely don't need small base dies.

Was just lookin for an excuse to buy dies for it.

+1...

Use regular full length dies, small base dies are for semi-autos and might even cause you some problems in the Marlin. I still shoot a Revelation model 200 on a regular basis (which is a Marlin 336) and reload for it all the time...never had to do anything other than full length size for it.
