30-30?

Quick question.......at what yardage do most of you sight in a 30-30 rifle? I usually hunt off the ground in pretty heavy woods.

How much drop @100yds are you seeing with a 50 and 75yd zero?

What do you guys think about a 30-30 for moose, bears etc

A lot of them were killed with it, it wouldn't be my first choice. If you really want a lever action for moose and bear, think 300Sav, 308, 358 Win, 375 Win, 444 Marlin and 45-70. Mine is in 375 Win.

Okay that’s kind of what I thought, it has been done before but isn’t recommended. Is 45-70 ammo hard to find? I’m just brainstorming over here.

50 or 100 depending on load. FTX with LEVERE load it's +- one inch 10 - 100 yds anyway.
