300 aac blackout in a encore pistol

anyone out there shooting one? is so what velocities are you getting and with what bullet? thinking of getting one for deer hunting.

Just curious but for a deer hunting barrel why would you skip the 30-30 for a .300 blackout? The 30-30 would give you more velocity and far cheaper ammo not to mention you could get a used barrel fairly inexpensive for the 30-30

i've had the 30-30, 30 herett, 308, just wanted something different. maybe a 30 Apache.
i currently shoot a 6br.

For a contender, a 35 remington is very hard to beat. A 200grain round nose at 2000fps. Kills deer very well out to 200 yards.
My set up is Super 14 magna ported, pachmeyer gripper and forend, 2x buris er in steel burris mounts and rings. My load, 39.0 grains of H322, 200grain corelokt rn, remington brass, fed 215

A friend shoots an Encore 300blk pistol. I don't know the velocity but he loves the performance of the Barnes 110 factory ammo on paper and whitetails. He said from an accuracy and performance standpoint it would be near impossible to beat with reloads so he buys a case or two of the Barnes a year.

i found the same to be true with my 6.8 spcII ar, shoots better with factory ammo than reloads. both shoot great but the factory for some reason is a real screamer.
