well fellas i know i dont need it but but they look COOL and sound even cooler when shot with subsonics and im using the scare to scare myself into pulling the trigger on one........i cant really believe it to be honest but after watching MUTIPLE You Tube vids on everything i could about these and after viewing the few here in the recent threads i have seen i now have to have a 300 BLACKOUT SBR.....i know nothing about them really even after the research i have done at this point and have several questions for those that do have them now.......

1) If you could go with one of these uppers which choice would you choose and why.....would you get 8",10" or 12" and why.......
Advanced Armament
Noveske

2) If you could go with one of these lowers which one and why.....
Noveske
Knight Armament Company

3) What are the opinions on the Noveske complete guns....would you do this ILO joining an upper to a lower of two different manufacturers....what would your first choice be complete one manfac or a combo of two.....

4) I seems everyone is happy with the AAC 762-SDN-6 and says it is the suppressor to have for this round/gun true or not?????.....anyone have experience with a better suppressor product for the Blackout round......or know first hand from experience that the AAC 762-SDN-6 is the one a person should have/use....

i would like to hunt yotes with it using subsonic rounds but maybe its to much gun with subs or supers....200 to 300 yard shots max would be all i need and more than likely 100 to 200.....if the subs are at least quieter than a regular AR .223/556 round without the suppressor i would use it right out of the gate and more than likely ditch my Carbon Bushmaster AR.........i only like to buy once and value hands on opinions and like to hear other views before i make a decision....You Tube works for some info but i still like to hear others views/answers.......thanks in advance for the help as its appreciated.......BINESS!!!!!!!!!

I would go with the Noveske in 8 or 10". I have a 10.5" that Dtech built. I have a Thunderbeast 30P-1 suppressor that I really like. My gun shoots subs sub moa with my hand loads. If you get the gas system in the carbine position you'll have to use 1680 powder to get it to cycle with subs. This powder is noticeably louder than N110 and lil gun because you have to use more of it. I like the pistol length gas system better, but all I shoot is subs through mine.

i understand the gas tube and its back pressure operates the bolt carrier......i also understand that the carbine gas system/tube/version must be longer obviously not creating enough pressure to operate the carrier with subsonics........butg i guess you are saying when using the pistol version i would assume to be shorter tube/system hence creating more pressure to operate the carrier with subsonic ammo.......what i dont understand is do i have to request the gas system a certain way in the upper when i order the unit? does it only come one way from the factory and have to be modded right out of the gate to the pistol length gas system to get it to cycle subsonics? these are the fine details i need before going to far and not getting what i want. as already stated thanks for the help.

Sounds like you are set to wait on stamps. Since you are behind the curve on the gun grab madness I recommend a 16" upper. You can pin it to the lower you already have untill you line out either a complete SBR from Noveske (recommend 10" switch block) or parts to build/register one. My opinion on silencers is get what's in stock with the company that has the best customer service. Stamps are a 6+ month wait right now.

its funny u say that because my local dealer has an Advanced Armament 300 BLACKOUT 16" upper for $1025.00 that i found today and i may go grab...i was thinking i could mate it to my Bushmaster lower but im not sure i want to do that but may as they said my lower would work with the 300 upper.......i just wanted a complete new gun ILO taking one down/apart to make one.....who knows what to do...a dealer i found for the complete Novekse says the current enviroment isnt why they are currently not taking orders at this time....they say its their current 8 month backlog of orders they have to fill and the 2013 Shot Show and Noeveske's comittment to the show...this dealer said after the show next month they should be able to order a complete Noevekse and would do the suppressor paperwork at the same time.....yes i knew i had to wait either way for one stamp so whats two......PERIOD!

The blackout was copied from 300 Whisper. Remington standardized it with carbine gas system for super and sub sonic ammo but to run sub sonic ammo you must run 1680 powder to get it to cycle. The 300 whisper was designed as a sub sonic round and people started using adjustable gas blocks to run super sonic rounds through them. There is no cycling issues with 300 blackout as long as you use the correct components. Most people with issues are trying to do something that its not designed to do. If you are interested in mainly running sub sonics through a suppressor I would get a barrel with the gas port in the pistol position. If it is going to be used for supers mainly I would get it with the gas port in the carbine position. The 300 blackout is a great round but please know it has limitations. It is basically a 200 yard round for the average shooter that just points and shoots.

EXACTLY what i needed to know before i bought the wrong thing and regretted the purchase.......this is for 90% mainly subsonics 200 yards and under......either way your information is what i need to make sure i purchase CORRECTLY the first time.......let me ask you then will i more than likely need to SPECIAL order the upper portion of what im looking for to get the pistol postion gas port system since most may have the carbine style gas system from the factory......can the gas system be changed after the fact or is the barrel modded to fit one or the other.........thanks again for the help as stated its greatly APPRECIATED.....BET!!!!!!!

Go over to 300blktalk.com there is a wealth of info there. If you are going to load your own I would get the pistol gas system. If you are going to shoot factory ammo I would go with carbine system. Whatever system you get you can't change without a new barrel. If you're going to get an SBR stamp pistol gas system for sure. I have never shot super sonics through mine only subs.

With sub sonic ammo you are only good for about 125 yards point and shoot. After 125 the drop is significant. I have several post about the 300. I have been shooting this for three years now and this is my favorite cartridge, just know its limitations.

thx for pointing me towards 300blktlk......what optics do u use.......i was looking at Aimpoint, Eotech. Trijicon....i have a Trijicon Accupin on my Hoyt RKT Element and i really like it.....but im not sure whats the fastest target aquisition sight of the three.......any ideas........thx!

I mostly use mine for hunting. I just have a Weaver Classic Extreme 2.5x10x50 on it. Leupold makes a reticle in their scopes for the 300 Blackout but it's pricey.
