300 BLK OUT ammo question

The V-Max that I shot out of my buddies 300 Blackout were Hornady Black 110gr. I shot one wounded hog in the forehead at about 15 feet and it didn't kill it. Body shots took multiple hits to put them down for good. I never saw one pass completely through like I have with the Remington Hog Hammer's.

I blew ones jaw completely off and shot it in the body two or three times with the Hornady V-Max and it still needed shot again. Hogs are solid, tough animals. If you're not shooting them with a bullet that's pretty solid itself you're probably just shooting up pigs that are gonna run off to die. Any hog I've shot in the head with Hog Hammers dropped on the spot. Even ones that were hit between the eyes which apparently is very bad shot placement on one. Shooting those bullets I haven't noticed. V-Max are good coyote medicine but when you're shooting an animal that solid they're not the best thing ever.

I have a 16 in 300 BO upper that has a pistol gas tube for shooting subsonic rounds.
And one with a carbine gas tube for regular rounds.
My Specwar runs with regular gas blocks.

I found a picture of the bad 300 acc Remington ammo.
This is what they wanted back.
