Can't answer your question directly, but can tell you that I get good accuracy and about 3500 fps with a 125gr nbt and 4350 powder from my 300 WSM 22" barrel. The ballistic tip has proved more accurate that the lighter hornady bullets I've tried in all of the 30 cals Ive tried them in. I hate to say that because, overall, I'm a hornady fan. I would expect the effects on a coyote to be spectacular. I've even gotten good groups with the 125nbt from my 300RUM at velocities approaching 4k.
I'll skip the gory details, but decided that the 30 cal mags do their best work with heavier bullets and coyotes and smaller varmints is why they make smaller calibers. Some of this experimenting did, however, change my personal definition of "splat factor".
