Ive used 4064 in my Savage .308 M10 FLP for many years. Its a great all around powder.

Bronco- i use I4895 in the garands. i use varget in the bolts. you may get 50fps more with I/H4350. i am intereseted in accuracy. in addition to the bergers, i have used 167 scenar, 168 horn bthp , 168 MK, 168 ballistic silver tip , 168 ballistic tip. i would use 155 scenar out of the 308 or maybe berger.

Personally, I prefer the 06 for 1000 yd. My favorite bullet is the 190 gr. SMK. Fortunately I stocked up on favorite LR powder (H 450 which is no longer available). I'd bet you could work up a very accurate 1000 yd load using 4350 behind the 190's as well.

IMR 4350 and 168 MK's do well at shorter ranges, but the 190's better farther out.

Regards,
hm
