.308 vs .223

I have both a .308 and a .223 and they both have very great advantages. But if you could only buy 1 a .308 is more versatile you can get 110 grain to 180 grain bullets for the 308 and it would be a better all around gun for coyotes prarie dogs rockchucks.... even deer and elk if you load up a 147 grain bullet or bigger.
 
Yes i know thats what i thought too, but theres a long story behind it. I guess i should have just said milk jugs are a good place to start. blue
