330 dakota v. 338 norma

Just wondering what your thoughts are on this one. Any thought would be helpful. I am contemplating an f-open rifle either of these chamberings. Not sure if one has an edge over the other. What do you think?

I don't know anything about either, but do they offer anything over the 338 edge or lapua?

Approx. same velocitieish with less powder. This will lead to a longer barrel life, and cost less per shot.

Can't argue with that. The latest trend in F shooting is 300 wsm with heavy projectiles. I am just thinking a step ahead, maybe, maybe not. Just thinking out loud in the forums.

I run a 338 Norma, and honestly, I don't take her out unless I'm planning on bangin steel beyond a grand, took her out to 2K a year ago, and it's a great round... I'll also get some trigger time with the 300 Norma sometime this summer.
