I use the 285 amax and also use 93.5 grain retumbo powder. Of course know the each gun is different and what works well in my gun may not be desirable in yours. I got my starting load information from the reloading data center for IMR powder. Yep its a big bullet/cartridge. Have fun and think about where that bullet will end up, bigger bullets bigger calibers arent as easy to stop. I add dirt to my shooting range berm often when shooting the big boys.
