358 wssm data

358 WSSM? I had to look it up, yep it does exist.

It's got to be rather rare, and special. You are one of the few with that chambering. Do a net wide search to pick up a few tidbits.

Sounds like your pretty close to 358 Win in capacity. The max load in the Lyman book is 54g of Varget with a 200gr bullet.

When I was selling new .243 WSSM brass a guy bought 1000 from me who was expanding it out for something bigger, I think it was this. I remember thinking that this was a heck of a neck expansion. I was asking him why he was going to this trouble and he said it had to do with his state's deer hunting regulations.

I'm hoping for this to be my go too rifle for the variety of woods and fields I hunt up here in Vermont. I did some research, but was hoping someone else here was reloading for it too.

Yeah I had to fireform my brass

You may check out the 358 Grant. It's wsm brass trimmed to 1.8. It has a significant jump over the 358 wssm. Talking 200 gr bullets at 3,000 fps plus. Plus the brass will be easier to come by than the wssm brass
