36X scope with mil-dot?

Hey Guys

Do you know if anyone make a good (and decently priced) fixed power scope in the 36X range with a mil-dot reticle? I am planning on building a 500 yard and beyond prairie dog rig and do not really need a variable power scope. I might end up putting one there but really would rather have a fixed if I can find one.

Preshate it.

Wondered the exact same thing. They have put different reticles other scopes of mine before.

Of course, then you make the price go way up. I likely be better off to find a good used 8-32X of some sort.

Anyone got a good one for sale? Cheap?

You might consider a Weaver T-36 (36x) but I think that unless you are using it strictly for target range work, you will have a problem with mirage above 18x on hot days for PDs...The T-36 is very popular with a lot of benchrest shooters, without breaking the bank...I've seen them as low as $350 in the past...

No mil-dots on the big Weaver or it would be like number 1 on my list. It is just available with fine crosshairs or 1/8" MOA dot. No mil-dot or anything with hash marks so it is out too.

Looks like another 6-24X will be what I be getting. And really, that's enough most of the time. It's just that when you are trying to hit that 800 yard pasture poodle a wee bit more power sure is nice.

I have and use T-36 for some target and load work --
Have it squared up on AR mount --
Easy move from one rail to another --
Highest magnification that I have used --
Thx

Don't seem to be that way, no. Really, no biggie. I think that I be better off with a good variable anyway. Just hate to spend many hundreds of dollars for a scope that I am going to be using one week a year.

Not quite that much. A 8-32X be fine. Likely I will go back to something in the 20x range again. Cheaper and easier to find.
