We shot a 32 and a 34 coyote 3 weeks ago didn't we?
Can't remember if the 34 was the club foot coyote or not.
Anyway... that is a bigun for sure.
I suppose the size didn't make any difference to Buster did it.
Couple of those heavy ones we shot were 32-34 pounds. The clubfoot was one of them. Take the tumor away, and he would have been about 28 pounds...
This heavy one wasn't much fun for Buster...He just closed his eyes and fell over. Didn't even kick. It wouldn't have made any difference to him on size though...
52 lbs my best about 3 years ago. Male I got him mounted on my wall. Shot him at 50 yards on a dead run coming right at me. Ghillie suits are great. Lol
My first yote. 47 pounds on a digital fed ex scale (shhh don't tell the boss). Would of been a record for Mn if I would of known there was such a thing till someone 6 years later got a 52 and put it in the books.
Top pic is my 41lb male I took at 45 yards when it came up behind me in my blind spot using female invites...it may of been looking for its mate I took 4 days earlier I figure.
My biggest to date, its tanned & hanging on my wall.
Bottom is a 33lb Female...she had 7 p-dogs in her stomach. Both taken last October.
I figured it was the alpha pair in that spot also.
Last week coming home from ID I saw a road killed dog that looked like a wolf on the Crow Reservation near Custer.
I had to stop & look at it to make sure it was a coyote & not a wolf. I flipped it over to check its face it was that hard to figure out.
It felt to be 55lbs + & closer to 6' snout to tail.
My biggest was a 46 lbs toad that was weighed on my taxidermist scale. I never thought I would ever shoot one that big out here in CA, I wish I had a pic of him.
Here are my biggest AZ dogs. Biggest was 44lbs on the fish scale. Shot him at about 35yds with 3-1/2 HB BB's. Most of ours tip the scales at less than 30lbs. I have killed a 38lb, 44lb, and 39lb, all in the last 2 years.
