5.5 flash hider vs, levang

ok,,,,,

we just tried two weapons, both 16'' barrels.

me david , cody, and patti.

the bushy had the DPMS 5.5 flash hider on

the rock/river dissipator has the levang.

same ammo.

the 5.5 is a little more quiet than the levang.

the 5.5 dpms flash hider was 16 bucks, the levang was 50 dollars.

all of us agreed the 5.5 was better on your ears.

looks kinda weird on a 16'' M4 , but im keeping it on.

already the looks is growing on me. my ears LOVE it.

I've been contemplating a levang, guess I won't waste the $$$ now. I've had other AR shooters move 5' behind me to shoot, said the blast from that thing was just too much to be beside. Behind it isn't that bad.

Mine is perma-mounted. Only thing keeping the rifle legal. It has a 10 or 11 inch barrel on it.
 
yes, mine is legal 16'' incher, added 5 inches...?

really made a differance, i may have lost a little handyness, but i dont notice any added weight, seem's to balance better ?

i know my ears will love the trade off.

it's a keeper.

The can is not mine it belongs to a friend on mine so I only get to use it when Im with him.
